Chinese Styled Paneer (Tofu) Chili


Chinese Styled Paneer (Tofu) Chili

Ingredients:

1)      200 gms – Paneer (Tofu) cut into bite sized pieces
2)      1 medium sized onion – chopped in semi-sliced discs
3)      2 medium sized capsicums (chili peppers)
4)      5 green chilies (depends on the piquancy / heat)
5)      5 pieces baby corn
6)      2-3 tbsp Chili sauce
7)      1 tablespoon white vinegar
8)      4 tbsp Tomato ketchup
9)      1-3 tbsp Soya sauce
10)   Salt (minimal – soya sauce should be enough)
11)   1 tbsp sugar
12)   2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
13)   Coriander – to garnish

Method:
1)      Take oil in a sauce pan and heat it
2)      Add in Paneer (tofu) and brown them until golden brown and remove

3)       In the same oil, fry in onions until slightly golden brown
4)      Add in capsicum (chili peppers), chilies and sauté them well
5)      Add in baby corn and sauté well
6)      Add in chili sauce, white vinegar, tomato ketchup and soya sauce – mix well


7)      Add in the Paneer and sugar
8)      Cover and cook for 5 min – keep the heat to a minimum
8)      Garnish with coriander
